BioYeast酵解鴂

Purified yeast beta-glucan immunomodulator — protein-free functional additive

Target Species

Piglets and grow-finish swine, poultry, fish and shrimp.

Problems Addressed
  • Tightening restrictions on antibiotic growth promoters, and rising antibiotic resistance
  • Weak immunity and high mortality in early life stages
  • Stress from temperature, transport, weaning and grading
  • Mycotoxin challenge in the feed — aflatoxin B1, DON and zearalenone
  • Vibrio and general disease pressure in aquaculture
Main Ingredients

Beta-1,3/1,6-D-glucan, minimum 35%, extracted from the cell wall of strictly selected Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Protein-free. Particle size 350 µm; disperses well in water.

Technology & Working Principle

Beta-1,3/1,6-glucan derived from Saccharomyces cerevisiae is the form with demonstrated immune activity — the beta-1,4 linkage found in cereal glucans has no equivalent immune function. BioYeast is manufactured to maximise that active fraction across three stages: liquid yeast fermentation to build biomass; cross-flow filtration at 12–15°C to purify the biomass while protecting the cell wall; and cell wall hydrolysis followed by fluidised spray drying to the finished powder. The finished glucan also interacts with aflatoxin B1, DON and zearalenone, adding a mycotoxin dimension to the immune benefit. The hydrolytic enzyme technology was developed in collaboration with the University of Natural Sciences, VNU-HCM, Vietnam.

Dosage

Piglets: 1 kg per ton of feed. Poultry and pigs: 250 g – 1 kg per ton (500 g – 1 kg per ton for days 0–42; 250 g per ton thereafter). Fish: 500 g – 1 kg per ton. Shrimp: 500 g – 1 kg per ton.

Main Product Benefits
Poultry — 69-day yellow chicken trial (UV R&D laboratory)

FCR improved from 2.95 in control to 2.68 at 250 g/ton. Mortality reduced from 13% in control to 8% at 250 g/ton and 5% at 500 g/ton.

Shrimp — Vibrio parahaemolyticus challenge trial (REAR 2, Vietnam)

Relative percentage survival of 47.4% at 2 g/kg feed and 49.9% at 5 g/kg feed.

Striped catfish — 6-week trial (Nong Lam University, Vietnam)

At 500 g/ton: FCR improved 4.7%, mortality reduced 6.3%, blood lysozyme and SOD both approximately 30% higher than control. At 700 g/ton: FCR reduced 7.8% and specific growth rate increased 3.6%.

General

Strengthens immune response and early-stage survival; acts as an anti-stress agent through temperature change, transport and weaning; increases overall productivity.
