BioGlucan Pro
A yeast-derived beta-1,3/1,6-glucan feed additive for poultry and swine. Clinically validated for immune priming and FCR improvement in Asian tropical conditions.
When disease pressure rises, feed efficiency falls
Post-weaning stress
Nursery pigs face immune suppression and gut dysbiosis in the first 2 weeks post-weaning, leading to reduced ADG and elevated mortality.
Vaccine response
Commercial broiler flocks often show suboptimal antibody titers post-vaccination, leaving flocks vulnerable during seasonal disease challenges.
Seasonal transitions
Heat stress and seasonal temperature swings in tropical Asia suppress feed intake and immune function simultaneously, compounding performance losses.
Mechanism of action
Beta glucan is ingested and reaches the small intestine intact
M-cells in Peyer's patches sample and bind the beta glucan via Dectin-1 receptors
Macrophages and dendritic cells are activated, releasing controlled immune signals (IL-6, TNF-α)
Systemic innate immunity is primed — animal responds faster to disease challenges
FCR and growth performance improve as immune energy is used efficiently
