✨ It is with feelings of gratitude and fulfillment that we wrapped up our latest seminar on "The Economic Impact of EHP: Identifications and Management", held at Lago de Oro, Philippines 🇵🇭. It was a rewarding experience for our Aquaculture technologist and Deputy Manager, Hao Sheng Cheng, who had the chance to exchange with shrimp farmers, and technicians, all dedicated to tackling the challenges posed by EHP.

🙏We extend our warmest thanks to each one of you for your active participation that enriched our discussions by sharing valuable experiences. Your contributions have strengthen our understanding of the realities faced by the industry in Calatagan.

🤝 We extend our gratitude to our esteemed partners, Global Nutrivet Trading, and the Calatagan Prawn Growers, whose support has made this seminar possible.
Special thanks goes out to Barry, for his invaluable insights and expertise that guided everyone through the event. 🦐🌱

⏳In recent years, the Philippines has witnessed a concerning rise in EHP infections, posing significant economic threats to shrimp farming. While diseases like WSSV and AHPND (as known as EMS) often are at the heart of concerns due to high mortality rates, EHP's impact on growth and immune response is equally crucial. This underlines the importance of raising awareness and implementing effective management strategies to mitigate its harmful effects.
The focus of our seminar was to inform about the often underestimated threat of EHP infection in shrimp farming. Despite its subtle symptoms of slow growth, EHP poses a significant risk by compromising shrimp immunity, leaving them vulnerable to more deadly pathogens like Vibrio parahaemolyticus(main pathogen of AHPND). Our seminar provided a platform for in-depth discussions, and on-site farm visits, allowing us to offer tailored advice and insights to address EHP challenges. It was heartening to witness farmers' interest for resilient approaches, aligning with local realities and struggles.

🌊Many attendees shared their challenges, from slow growth issues to water system conditions, reaffirming the need for a holistic approach to shrimp farming that prioritizes resilience and environmental sustainability.

Within this evolving landscape of aquaculture, 神農生技股份有限公司 BiomiXin Co., Ltd. remains committed to supporting farmers. Together, let's strive for a future collaborations and a brighter, healthier aquaculture industry. 🦐🌱
